Dr. Paul Powers is President of Powers & Co., Management Psychologists. Powers & Co. assists organizations with managerial and executive assessment, selection and development, career development, team building, management training, meeting facilitation, individual and group conflict resolution and post-downsizing revitalization. For 25 years Paul has consulted with organizations in the high technology, bio technology, healthcare, financial and professional services industries. Dr. Powers has consulted with organizations ranging in size from small start-ups to Fortune 500 organizations such as IBM, Microsoft, GE, Britamco Underwriters, UPromise, Lumigent, Metratech, Fidelity Investments, Tri-Health Systems, Mass General Hospital, University Hospital, TAC Worldwide, GeoComp, Haley & Aldrich, HP, Oracle and Jordan's Furniture Dr. Powers has taught Organizational Behavior and Management Psychology at Emmanuel College in Boston, MA. He is a nationally noted seminar leader, motivational speaker and is author of Winning Job Interviews (Career Press, 2005) and Love Your Job, Loving The Job You Have... Finding A Job You Love, (O'Reilly Media, 1993). Paul was the co-host of 'CareerTalk' on WHDH radio in Boston, and a regular contributor to 'New England Business' on WBNW: Boston's Business Radio 590 and The Job Show on WABU-TV, Ch. 68 Boston. Dr. Powers is co-founder of 'The Management Corps for the Emerging East' a non-profit initiative to send American business volunteers to work in enterprises in The Republics of the former Soviet Union to assist in their transition to a free-market economy with hands-on management skills and techniques. A licensed psychologist, Dr. Powers holds a Doctorate in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He is a Marine Corps veteran with an earlier career in the mental health field. The former chairman of the Massachusetts Board of Psychologists, Dr. Powers' work has been noted in such media as The Wall Street Journal, The National Business Employment Weekly, The Boston Globe, The Boston Herald, Executive Strategies, The New England Business Magazine, CNN, CNBC, National Public Radio.
